This journal club looks at the original nasal subunit principle proposed by Burget and Menick in 1985.

Summary Card

The authors hypothesise that reconstructing the entire subunit results in a greater aesthetic outcome.

Patients with >50% defect of their subunit have complete resection of their subunit and reconstructed with an FTSG or flap.
