The authors hypothesise that reconstructing the entire subunit results in a greater aesthetic outcome.

Methods
Patients with >50% defect of their subunit have complete resection of their subunit and reconstructed with an FTSG or flap.

Results
20 patients. No formal scar assessment, just the "surgeon's eye"
